Heart Kids is a safe, fun, and engaging place where children from birth through 5th grade learn that God made them, God loves them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever. We run during every weekend service — so while you worship, your kids are cared for by a trained, background‑checked team and discover the Bible in a way they'll actually remember.

Every weekend, kids walk into a room built just for them — bright, loud in the best way, and led by adults who know their name. We make church a place your child looks forward to.
From the nursery to 5th grade, every age has its own space, its own team, and lessons made for where they are. The littlest ones are simply loved and kept safe. The older ones dig into real Bible stories, ask real questions, and learn to follow Jesus with friends their age.
Safety comes first, always. Every volunteer is background‑checked and trained, ratios are kept low, and our check‑in and pickup system means only you can pick up your child. You worship with peace of mind — they have the time of their week.
Nursery
A calm, secure space with feeding, diapering, and lots of gentle care from a screened team — so the youngest are loved while you worship.
Preschool
First Bible stories, songs, and hands‑on play. Big truths told in small, joyful ways that little ones can hold onto all week.
Elementary
Worship, teaching, and small groups built for grade‑schoolers to wrestle with real questions and take real next steps with Jesus.
Make a kid's week —
one hour at a time.
You don't need to be a teacher or have it all figured out. You just need to love kids and show up. We'll train you, pair you with a team, and never throw you in alone.
THE COMMITMENTOnce or twice a month
Serve one service and still make it to one. Most volunteers give about an hour, a couple weekends a month.
THE SCREENINGBackground‑checked & trained
Every volunteer is screened and trained before their first weekend. Safety isn't a step we skip.
THE ROLESThere's a spot for you
Check‑in, snacks, small‑group helper, worship, or holding babies in the nursery. Tell us what fits.
When you arrive, stop by the Heart Kids check‑in. You'll get a printed name tag for your child and a matching pickup tag for you. Only the adult holding the matching tag can pick that child up — no exceptions. First time? Arrive about 15 minutes early so we can get you registered without rushing.
Birth through 5th grade, split into three age bands — Nursery (birth–2), Preschool (age 3–kindergarten), and Elementary (1st–5th grade). Each has its own room, team, and lessons made for that stage. Kids in 6th grade and up belong in Heart Youth.
Safety is our first priority. Every Heart Kids volunteer is background‑checked and trained before they ever serve, and we keep volunteer‑to‑child ratios low by age. Our secure check‑in and pickup system means only you can pick up your child. Rooms are monitored and staffed by a screened team every single weekend.
Age‑appropriate Bible teaching centered on one big idea: God made them, God loves them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever. Lessons use stories, worship, games, and small‑group conversation so kids don't just hear the Bible — they remember it and take it home. Many weekends we send a simple take‑home so the conversation can continue with you.
Just yourselves. For nursery and preschool, label a diaper bag with any bottles, snacks, or comfort items and we'll take care of the rest. There's nothing to buy and nothing to prepare — come as you are, a few minutes early, and we'll walk you through everything.
We want every kid to belong. We're glad to talk through your child's needs and, where we can, pair them with a buddy or adjust the environment so they can thrive. The best first step is to email us before your visit at email protected so we can prepare and welcome them well.
