SERVICE LENGTH
About 65 minutes.
Doors open thirty minutes before each service. We begin on time with a season of worship, transition to the message, and close in prayer - out by the top of the next hour.
Whether you've been in a pew every Sunday of your life or never set foot in a church, this page tells you exactly what to expect before you walk through our doors.

WHAT TO WEAR
You'll see everything from suits to denim. The Lord looks at the heart, not at outward appearance (1 Samuel 16:7). Wear whatever helps you feel at home and worship freely.
THE WORSHIP
A live band leads us in contemporary worship songs and a few classic hymns, with lyrics on the screens. Standing is welcome but never required — sing, listen, or simply reflect on what's being said.
THE MESSAGE
One of our pastors teaches verse‑by‑verse through a book of the Bible, roughly thirty‑five minutes. Our aim is for the text to do the work — clear, faithful, and applicable to ordinary life.
GIVING
Giving is a response to God's generosity (2 Corinthians 9:7), not a price of entry. As our guest, please don't feel any obligation. Boxes are placed at the back of the auditorium for those who wish to give.
INTRODUCING YOURSELF
We do not single out first‑time guests or ask anyone to stand. There's a brief moment to greet those seated near you — a simple hello is plenty. The welcome team is available before and after if you'd like to talk.
BRING A BIBLE?
The passages we're studying appear on the screens and in the PHC app, so nothing is required of you. If you'd like a physical Bible to take home, the welcome desk has copies available at no cost.
COMMUNION & BAPTISM
We share communion together on the first Sunday of each month. Baptisms happen several times a year — public services where people declare their faith in Christ. Both are explained from the stage; no obligation as a guest.
No. A meaningful portion of those who attend Pure Heart each weekend are doing so for the firs time, or returning after many years away. Our welcome team is trained to help, not to spotlight. You will not be asked to stand, identify yourself, or do anything you would rather not.
Fifteen to twenty minutes before service is ideal — enough time to find parking, check children in, grab coffee, and find a seat without rushing. The 10:00 AM Sunday service in Glendale is our busiest; we'd suggest twenty minutes for that one.
